Ottawa International Animation Festival – Call for Kids’ Jury

Needed: 10 animation enthusiasts, ranging from age nine to 14 to judge this year’s competition of short films or TV series made for kids.

Ottawa Start – Call for Submissions

Glen Gower is looking for Ottawa artists to participate in a new project called “Skyscraper Art on OttawaStart”, using advertisement space he wants to donate to local artists.

He’s looking for 30 pieces of art to feature in the space, taking over the “Skyscraper” spot for at least 10 weeks this fall, from September 15 to November 30, maybe longer. Visual art – painting, sculpture, digital, textiles, photographs, etc., original or an adaptation or detail of an existing piece.

La Petite Mort Gallery – Call for Nudity

Owner Guy Berube is looking for “a lot” of people who would love to pose fully nude, (no masks, accessories, funny hats) with their identities hidden, in a photo shoot, for it’s 5th anniversary printed invitation.

All participants get a signed print by photographer Remi Theriault, free entrance to the anniversary party on Halloween Night and a fully-clothed hug from Berube.

The shoot will happen August 30, starting at 6:30 pm. at an Ottawa location to be disclosed via email one week prior to the shoot.
