Status Quo – Jill Zmud
This year Jill Zmud becomes the first local singer/songwriter to sweep Ottawa’s musical triple crown, with performances at Jazz Fest (July 1), Bluesfest (July 10) and Folk Fest (August 13). It would seem she’s arrived, but with only one album in release and only 10 years since she first picked up a guitar at age 22, Zmud is much too sensible to have given up her day job with the government.
